Entry #1
Well 2008 has been a fairly productive year - finishing off Year 11, starting Year 12, and heaps of released 8-bit tunes. But I only released one of the flash projects I made this year - disappointing.
I was going to upload a click adventure game I made the year before, but that's on the school's servers and I won't be able to get that until 1st semester starts late January.
My laptop broke down, for the 14th time this year, so I decided to buy an Acer Aspire 5930, it's the one with the blue lights. It's an awesome laptop, and I'm now able to play Team Fortress 2 and even Fallout 3 with very little problems (even when I'm running Vista, lol).
I've given my fair share of complaints regarding Vista's compatibility in ventrilo conversations, but 32-bit version seems to have very few of these problems. I'm laughing that I didn't get x64.
Anyway I have a few flash projects in the running for next year, including the following:
- A collab between myself and snark-4918 about missingno beating the living shit out of various video game universes. It's sort of in hiatus at the moment but we'll continue it soon.
- Megaman X: Apocalypse, an animated short series about updated robot masters from megaman 1-3 trying to defeat X after copying the Sigma virus. I'm not sure about the storyline itself as my friend James is working on that, all I know is that Flash Man is the main character because he can - and I quote from James - "ZA WARUDO". lol
- And I might... MIGHT... MIGHT be working on music and graphics for a touhou/danmaku game being developed by Placeable. The engine and agreements are still in preparation but he has been working on it.
Amongst all this Flash hoo-hah, I will still be working on 8-bit and non-8-bit compositions for the AP, so people like koromaru22 (who keeps faving my touhou covers) and snark-4918 (who i keep sending my 8-bit pieces to for testing can rest easy.
Anyway, my New Year 2009 starts in 7 hours and 53 minutes (IM IN THE FUCKING FUTURE) so I hope you all enjoy the partying to be had and have a great New Year.
